About The Band
Loose Change ® is an original rock band formed in 1988 by longtime collaborators from New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Blending guitar-driven power, melodic hooks, and lyrical depth, the band has built a multi-decade catalog defined by strong songwriting and creative independence.
From its earliest days, Loose Change has balanced music with purpose. In 1990, the band helped organize Tunes for the Dunes, sending 2,000 independent music cassettes to U.S. troops serving in the Gulf War. In 2011, the band released Carry On in support of New York City 9/11 first responders through the Fealgood Foundation. These efforts reflect a belief that music can resonate beyond the studio and stage.
Today, Loose Change continues to release original music across major streaming platforms, expanding its catalog and audience. Recent singles highlight the band’s enduring commitment to craftsmanship, independence, and connection.
